My Infinity TSS-SUB750 subwoofer started having problems with hum and high pitch noise. The noise was getting worse and distracting so I replaced the speaker. Infinity doesn’t sell home theater speakers anymore. Instead, I bought Infinity’s REFERENCE SUB R10 which was similar in size and wattage. The R10 has a low-frequency effects (LFE) crossover setting, but it seems to have too much midrange. I’m using the LFE setting because my receiver has it.

Most of the time I’m listening to my songs on my Dell which has a tiny speaker attached below the monitor. I use the JBL speaker dock mostly at work. I also use my Droid Charge to watch Crunchyroll when I’m not home. I al
so have a stereo system with Bose 901s but I don’t even use that anymore. My wife complains when I play music too loud. She even complains when I’m listening to music on my Dell.
